I took a while to decide to actually get in the water as the tide was high
and on the pebbles and the wind didn't look great.
In the end I joined the others and launched off the pebbles on the
seafront. I was straight onto the plane and nicely powered up, so after a
few runs decided to go off on a little 'maritime adventure' and saild off
upwind. After a few tacks i sailed past Neil, mike, Chris and Derek who
were all kite-surfing up at the point where there was till some beach left.
i carried on upwind and over to the beach at aberdovey, before heading back
with some mad broad reaches flat out across the choppy water.
The wind was nice and constant, I was well powered up and had fun actually
going somewhere for a change rather than just back and forth.
